In this study, I mainly focused on the perceptions of the selected teachers’ regarding practicing differentiated instruction. As teachers, it is important to cater to individual learning needs. As Tomlinson (2008) mentioned, differentiated instruction provides students the learning opportunities in a way that fulfills their learning needs. On the other hand, Westberg and Daoust (2003) stated that their survey shows that teachers find it very difficult to differentiate their instructions in a daily routine. Therefore examining such difficulties and challenges will help me to explore and provide further training on differentiated instruction for a diversity of learners.
