The temperature on Mars:

when astronauts arrive, living on the Red Planet could be harder than the trip itself also, the Martian atmosphere is not as thick as Earth's atmosphere, which Living in Mars will require special habitats that can provide warm temperatures (and other potential challenges that humans will face on their way to the Red.
In general, the hottest section of Mars, its equator, does not get warmer than about 21 degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit) at noon during the summer.
What is the temperature on Mars right now?

NASA created this handy chart to help us out. On an average Mars day, the planet is about -81 degrees F (-60 C) - which yes, is much colder than Minnesota right now. But that's just part of the range of temperatures on the Red Planet. During winter, temperatures near the poles can get down to -195 degrees

How cold is it on Mars today?

On average, the temperature on Mars is about minus 80 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 60 degrees Celsius). In winter, near the poles temperatures can get down to minus 195 degrees F (minus 125 degrees C)

Can you breathe on Mars?

Mars does have an atmosphere, but it is about 100 times thinner than Earth's atmosphere and it has very little oxygen. The atmosphere on Mars is made up of mainly carbon dioxide. An astronaut on Mars would not be able to breathe the Martian air and would need a spacesuit with oxygen to work outdoors.
