Anthropology is the scientific study of humans, human behavior and societies in the past and presentSocial anthropology studies patterns of behavior and cultural anthropology studies cultural meaning, including norms and values.
Sociology and Anthropology are social science disciplines that focus on studying the behavior of humans within their societies. The key difference between the two social sciences is that sociology concentrates on society while anthropology focuses on culture.
There are now four major fields of anthropology: biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology, and archaeology. Each focus on a different set of research interests and generally uses different research techniques.
Social anthropology focuses in particular on the study of how contemporary human beings behave in social groups. Social anthropology can offer insight into the key political and social issues affecting the world today. I think anthropology is important because it makes us more aware and sensitive.
Social cultural anthropology is one of the four main branches of anthropology. Social cultural anthropologists focus on the study of society and culture, while often interested in cultural diversity and universal-ism. Additionally, social cultural anthropology is often split into social anthropology and cultural anthropology.
Anthropology is that window. Anthropologists study the concept of culture and its relationship to human life in different times and places. They study other societies to gain a clearer perspective on our own. They study the past to help interpret the present.
The study of Anthropology you examine how you act and relate to other people, providing important understandings and useful skills for living and working in a changing, multicultural society and globalizing world.
The goal of anthropology is to understand the human condition.  The great thing about anthropology's sub fields is that we can use each other's knowledge and research techniques to better understand why we act the way we do, and how it affects our physical, cultural, social, and political environments.
Anthropology are incredibly significant because it understand that society differs across the world and it aim to study and understand these differences. Knowledge and understanding of these societal differences can help create a more tolerant society. Anthropology combines or synthesizes the knowledge of many disciplines into a coherent study of what it means to be human. Self-knowledge and self-exploration through study of an arc of social sciences and humanities is important in gaining an understanding of “the bigger picture” of human culture.
